I will seek...

*I found this in a box.  I don't remember why I wrote it, but as I read it, I knew it was as true now as it was when I wrote it.*

I will seek excellence, unity and creativity.

As a Christian:

• I will seek to show Christ's love more through actions then through words.  
• I will seek to do God's will and not my own first and foremost

As a Teacher:

• I will seek to create a space where students feel free to create, to express their opinions and to grow as individuals.
• I will seek to encourage, correct and inspire in a way that will create both value and responsibility.
• I will seek to impart knowledge and to demonstrate good work ethic.
• I will seek to always be prepared and to be able to give my best to my students.

As a Friend:

• I will seek to make time for the important people in my life and not let busyness overrule relationship.
• I will seek to be a confidant, an encouragement and to know when to be serious and when to have fun.
• I will seek to make "strangers" feel welcomed whether in my home, church or place of work and to speak words of life to them.

As a member of the Allan family:

• I will seek to honour my family, to always show love and to be willing to sacrifice personal time for them.
• I will seek to be a role model for my nieces and nephew and to love them unconditionally.

As a Musician:

• I will seek to improve but to not lose my love for the amazing beauty that music provides.
• I will seek to use my talents for God's glory and to not be afraid to share my gifts.
